Counsellor Profile
I am a fully qualified psychological counsellor with Psychology-based training. My approach is integrative using in the main Humanistic approaches (Person- Centred, Existential) as well as Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I have extensive experience in working with Alcohol and Drug Misuse. I am the counselling manager of Addiction Support and Care Agency (ASCA) which provides counselling for people with alcohol/drugs problems.
I have worked as a bereavement counsellor for 2 years at a bereavement counselling service. During that time I also facilitated a therapy group and provided supervision for other counsellors.
I have been in private practice for the past 5 years. I work with both individuals (16 and over) and couples.

BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Counselling(University of Surrey 1998-2001)
Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology (University of Surrey 2001-2004).
Certificate of Higher Education in Combined and Social Studies (Open University).
Specialised training and extensive experience in Alcohol and Drugs Misuse counselling.

£50 per 50 minutes session, concessions offered.
£60 per 60 minutes for couple counselling.
