Gestalt and Integrative counselling and psychotherapy, and supervision.  Counselling and psychotherapy for a wide range of issues including Depression, Relationships, Bereavement, Abuse, Low Self-esteem, Emotional distress.  Personal growth.  Main qualification in: Gestalt Psychotherapy. Additional training in: Humanistic Person-centred Therapy and Integrative Psychotherapy.  I have a particular interest in working with the memories the body holds.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I am a UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) Registered Psychotherapist, having graduated from the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute in Nottingham.  I have twenty-one years' experience as a psychotherapist and counsellor working with individuals, couples and groups.   I am a supervisor of therapists and counsellors.  I am a mental health specialist in the NHS, working with people who are in psychiatric crisis.  I have worked in the NHS for twenty-three years. I hold a BSc in Applied Psychology.   I have devised and taught counselling courses as Senior Tutor at diploma level, and I have facilitated many workshops in the field of human growth and development.

AS WELL AS COUNSELLING/PSYCHOTHERAPY FOR INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS, I OFFER SUPERVISION TO COUNSELLORS AND PSYCHOTHERAPISTS.
Supervision is a place where the therapist can not only bring technical questions, but can also bring their own vulnerabilities and the emotional impact of their work. In the model of supervision I work to, working with the therapist's response to the client is at least as important as working on interventions, treatment planning and other technical questions.

Group supervision  £40.  Groups are 3 or 4 hours long.  You pay for one of those hours.
