Caroline Coleman MA DipKI UKCP

I am an experienced UKCP accredited & registered psychotherapist & counsellor in private practice on the outskirts of Winchester.
My training is Humanisitc and Integrative, including Gestalt and Psychospiritual.
I offer a FREE interview to enable you to visit me, see how and where I work and decide if I am the right person for you - with no obligation.
I tend to provide long-term support for clients but short-term work (6-8 weeks) is possible.
I work with individual adults (men and women) and young adults (16+) presenting a wide range of issues. I also work with students in vocational training, carers and people interested in personal development or requiring support.
My work is informed by an understanding of how suffering (unhappiness) and trauma are held in the body. I work with mindfulness in a non-directive way and, although therapy is predominantly a 'talking' cure, at the Studio my clients can also work with art materials as a way of describing or exploring what might be painful to talk about, or difficult to understand.
I include the spiritual and transpersonal as well as the mind and body in helping clients understand their personal ‘story’.
A strong and healthy therapeutic relationship can provide a unique opportunity for understanding, in-sight and healing. It can also be difficult. I endeavour to make the process as gentle as possible, with great regard for safety and confidentiality.
The Studio is located in a quiet village with easy access by road from all directions. There is ample parking but no public transport. There is disabled access (no disabled toilet).
