Counsellor Profile

I am a qualified and experienced counsellor offering long and short term work with individuals and groups. I am a member of the BACP. My preferred therapeutic model is an integrative approach, this means that I will use any approach that that is suitable for the individual client and their particular needs.
I have worked extensively in the areas of anxiety, relationship problems, violence and neglect, addictions, mental health issues and coping with psychosis.
My counselling room is private and anonymous to ensure clients confidentiality and is situated a convenient 10 minutes from the M62. Onstreet parking available, direct bus routes and near mainline rail station.
I will also work with clients online, in accordance with the BACPs recommendations for online counselling.

Evening and Saturday appointments sometimes available, please enquire.

Training, Qualifications & Experience (more info)

Diploma in Counselling.
Surviving Sexual Abuse Training.
My experience has been gained in private practice, as a counsellor within Adult Mental Health Services, and as an alcohol counselling trainer.
I am also working with Cruse as an external clinical supervisor.
