Welcome to Brighter Futures Counselling and Psychotherapy. I work with Adults and Children, from all over Staffordshire and Derbyshire including Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Leek, Ashbourne, Stafford, Derby, Burton-on-Trent, Rugeley, Lichfield, Stone and surrounding areas.
I have been working as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist for 17 years, both in the NHS and private practice. I work with clients on a short or long term basis, and integrate a number of different approaches, based on each person's needs. I see individuals, couples, and families as well as offering a specialist child counselling service.
* Supervision and training available to counsellors and counselling students.
* I am an Associate Counsellor with a number of Employee Assistance Programme providers.
* In my specialist work with children, I offer the option of Animal Assisted Therapy with my dog, Tilly (as featured in 'Psychologies' Magazine, March 2008)
* Qualified Advanced EFT (tapping) practitioner
* I write a regular column for The British Journal of School Nursing entitled 'Counsellor's Casebook'

Couples/Families - £55 per session
CHILDREN:
Initial Assessment - £65
Further sessions - £45
Weekday evening appointments are available at an additional charge of £5 per session
