Counsellor Profile

Pam has nearly 20 years experience as a counsellor and 10 years as a trauma specialist and supervisor.
Following the Humanistic tradition Pam believes the client to be the expert on themselves and works with them to find solutions and meanings that help them live more fully.
She is a BACP accredited counsellor and qualified psychologist and supervisor. She has held full-time posts in Management, Education, Cancer Research, Counselling and Training. Her other interests in Art & Design and Action methods have led her to work with a number of creative people at key stages in their careers.
Pam developed an interest in diversity & culture in relation to loss, including loss of self after trauma. Some of her work is published in ‘Working Inter-culturally in Counselling Sessions’. Aisha Dupont-Joshua.(Routledge-Brunner).
