Pam has 25 years experience as a psychotherapist & counsellor and 20 years as a trauma specialist & supervisor. She is a BACP accredited counsellor and EMDR Europe Approved Practitioner and qualified in Brainspotting, Psychology and Supervision.
She has held full-time posts in Management, Education, Cancer Research, Counselling and Training. Her other interests in Art & Design and Action methods have led her to work with a number of creative people at key stages in their careers.
Pam developed an interest in diversity & culture in relation to loss, including loss of self after trauma. Some of her work is published in ‘Working Inter-culturally in Counselling Sessions’. Aisha Dupont-Joshua.(Routledge-Brunner).
Following the Humanistic tradition Pam believes the client to be the expert on themselves and works with them to find solutions and meanings that help them live more fully.
