Counsellor Profile

I trained and worked in mental health establishments for six years before training and qualifying in social work. I worked in various local authorities as a social worker/social work manager where I practiced individual and group therapy for many years. I began my training in Transactional Analysis three years ago and have since been practicing in an NHS Unit as an Honorary Psychotherapist. I am now developing a small private practice in Colchester, Essex and in Walthamstow, East London.

I work with individuals and couples from all backgrounds.

I have particular interest and expertise in employment issues, inter-cultural issues facing people from ethnic minorities and in difficulties facing carers of disabled children/adults.
