Counsellor Profile

I am a mature woman, living in rural Lincolnshire. My working experience includes, teaching, lecturing, consulting and training to private and public organisations.
I have been involved in the village community in which I live for the past 16 years. I enjoying singing and dancing, walking and cycling. I am interested in sustainable futures and help with my husband's organic growing activities.

Training, Qualifications & Experience (more info)

I have an M.Ed. in Human Relations (University of Nottingham). I am registered with the UKCP, as a Gestalt Psychotherapist. I have extensive training and experience in other modalities: Person centred, psycho-dynamic, psychodrama, systemic therapy and EMDR (for trauma issues).
I have completed a year long supervision training for psychotherapists. I spent 5 years running counselling training courses with the University of Nottingham. I currently work in the NHS with a Child and Family service providing psychotherapy for young people and families with complex needs.
I work with adults only (individuals and couples) in private practice.

I currently charge £35 for a 60 minute session. My fees are reviewed annually in August.
