Profile
I know how difficult it is to talk to family and friends about one's anxieties and concerns and how important the opportunity to be able to speak to someone in confidence.
I am a member of the BACP and an Accredited Counsellor based in North London -Totteridge, N20. I undertake long and short term work with clients who are experiencing difficulties such as those brought about by -
- bereavement and loss
- childhood trauma affecting adulthood,
- sibling rivalry,
- sexual and physical abuse,
- sudden losses or changes of circumstances
- the guilt and sadness resulting from that most difficult of decisions - to put a parent, spouse or child into residential care.
My background is -
- working in schools and colleges specifically with special needs, including physical and learning disabilities.
- a long association with the elderly, disabled and vulnerable.
I hold one-to-one counselling sessions for individuals in relation to all of the above.
Training, Qualifications & Experience
