Counsellor Profile

I believe that pain and loss are created through broken attachment relationships and repair also has to take place through a healing relationship. Counselling can provide an opportunity to experience a relationship where it feels safe enough to explore fears and anxieties and find ways of understanding them. I am a member of the Centre for Attachment-Based Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and the International Association for Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy.

Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling.
Post-graduate attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapy training.
I have been practising since 1996 and have worked both privately and in an NHS setting.
