I have 10 years of very broad post qualification experience and have worked with many clients from varying backgrounds and cultures.
I offer long and short term therapy to individuals, couples and groups and work to the BACP Code of Ethics.
My approach is humanistic/integrative.
Some evening appointments are available. Individual counselling is available face to face, by telephone or Online.

I am experienced in many areas of counselling and regularly undertake further training to stay sharp and to offer my clients the best service I possibly can.
I have specialist training in Bereavement, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Addiction. Also, I am a trained and experienced Supervisor for other counsellors.
I am an accredited Bereavement Counsellor with Cruse Bereavement Care and worked as the Training Officer in my area for 3 years. I run Seminars on Bereavement and Loss for Carers and Health Professionals as part of a 3 part training package offered by a local Funeral Director.
I am trained and experienced in working with many different types of addiction (e.g. alcohol, nicotine, gambling, internet) and have an in depth understanding of addictive behaviour. I have run NHS clinics for 6 years.
I have worked with traumatised War Veterans for 10 years and undertaken specific training in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I have extenisve training in Critical Incident DeBriefing and have completed EMDR training level 2.
I would be pleased to work with you with whatever issue you wish to bring to therapy.
My approach to the number of sessions and time between sessions is flexible and we would discuss this at our first meeting. Usually we would initally work together on a weekly basis and move to fortnightly or more as you begin to feel better.
