I am experienced in working with issues such as relationships, self esteem, bereavement, posttraumatic stress, depression, addictions, the effect of physical illness on our emotional wellbeing and the impact of both childhood and adult sexual abuse, violence and neglect.
Training, Qualifications & Experience
Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling undertaken at Leeds University.
BA (Hons) Applied Social Studies and Certificate in Social Work. CQSW
Experienced counsellor having worked in social services, health service and the voluntary sector.
I work for STAR (Surviving Trauma After Rape)providing counselling for adults and young people who have been affected by sexual violence.
As well as my private practice I work at Relate providing counselling for young people aged between 11 and 25.
