Profile

My training and experience comes from a broad range of theoretical perspectives which influence my way of working. I have a wide range of experience in working with individuals, couples and families affected by emotional difficulties or experiencing mental health problems. I can provide time limited therapy in the form of 'Solution Focussed Brief Therapy' or 'Counselling in Crisis Situations'. as well as open ended long term therapy. I facilitate groups on the theme of 'moving on'. I believe the relationship between the client and myself to be an important part of the process towards healing and growth.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I have a Diploma in Health Care Studies and am a registered mental health nurse. I have a MSc in Psychodynamic Practice at The Tavistock Clinic, a renowned centre of excellence in this field. I have a diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling and work in the NHS in G.P. practices and in voluntary and private sectors
