My approach to counselling is largely person-centred, but I do integrate other approaches where appropriate. I aim to provide non-judgemental, confidential and skilled attention, helping you to understand your own thoughts and feelings and to explore a more life-enhancing way of living.

B. Ed., Certificate, Diploma and M Sc in Counselling/Psychology (Keele University) MBACP (Accred.)
Have worked in a Primary Care Trust setting counselling in a GP surgery and as a staff support counsellor for NHS staff.
In addition to private work, I am currently employed as a counsellor for Occupational Health with a local county council. I also work as a volunteer counsellor and supervisor for Savana (formerly Women's Rape and Sexual Violence Service).
