Profile
I am a qualified, professional and experienced counsellor working in the peaceful area of upper St. Thomas in Exeter. I'm warm, confident and down-to-earth, with a love of counselling and a sense of humour, skilled in facilitating sensitive exploration and change.
As an integrative counsellor I have training and experience in using a wide range of well-known counselling approaches. From these, I aim to create an individual counselling approach which best suits you and your situation, so that the experience feels comfortable and 'right' for you.
I also sometimes offer creative therapies to those who would like to use them and feel comfortable to do so. This approach can be helpful when words are not enough - and also for people who want to explore their situation or themselves in greater depth. On offer are outdoor therapy, sand tray, art, writing therapy, clay, visualisation, relaxation work, and many others.
I provide counselling for individual adults, and also deliver workshops and invited lectures to experienced counsellors, counsellors in training, and local businesses. I'm also a provider of life and business coaching, and provide supervision for professional and trainee counsellors.
As a member of the BACP, I am bound by the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to its Professional Conduct Procedure. I hold a CRB Enhanced Disclosure (police check).

£40 per full hour
Your introductory session, of up to 1 hour, is free of charge.
Low Cost Counselling:
I reserve a limited number of places for individuals who cannot otherwise access private counselling because of the fees. In this case a much lower fee is charged - please contact me for further details.
