Profile
I am a BACP accredited counsellor and I offer a confidential face-to-face counselling service on either a short term or long term basis. I am experienced in working with individuals and in couples counselling.
I provide a warm and non-judgemental environment where people can explore issues that are troubling them, such as difficulty in relationships, loss and bereavement, depression and low self-esteem. Many people in today's fast-paced society suffer with high levels of stress in the workplace and I work with many people in this situation. Stress can also lead to problems with anger so I offer help with anger-management. I believe it's good to talk and very often people find it easier to talk to someone they're not emotionally close to.
Having experienced the benefits of counselling personally, I provide a safe place for others to experience the same benefits through a counselling relationship which can help them discover solutions to their problems. I believe each person is unique and because I work in an integrative way, I draw on several different counselling approaches to find the one that fits each individual. The counselling process is like a journey and I am committed to staying with the client through their journey until they are ready to go it alone.
I am a qualified supervisor offering supervision to counsellors and trainees. I also offer supervision to staff who work in charitable organisations or agencies in the helping professions.
I have two parking spaces at my premises. Watton has frequent daytime bus services from the surrounding villages and towns.
