Areas of counselling I deal with

Other areas of counselling I deal with

As well as my private practice, I work in the specialist field of childhood bereavement supporting children and families who have experienced or are faced with the death of a parent, sibling or close relative.

I also facilitate Voice Dialogue sessions.

Voice Dialogue is a method which has been developed by Psychotherapists Hal and Sidra Stone as a way to develop self-awareness and consciousness. It is a tool which allows us to experience different selves (or parts, or sub-personalities), to observe them without judging or controlling them, to become aware of how they work and what message they have for us. By entering into a dialogue with them, we can begin to understand them and actually become conscious of them. As we become conscious of them, we can begin to separate from them and move into a position where we see our situation from a different perspective, we see the bigger picture and so we have access to more resources within us and we have real choice. With Voice Dialogue, you can get in touch with a multitude of inner selves, enabling you to live a richer and more fulfilling life from a position of conscious choices and real possibilities, rather than out of old, conditioned ways of operating.
