Counsellor Profile

I am qualified counsellor and hold a Diploma in Integrative Counselling. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and I abide by the BACP code of ethics. I have completed additional training in addictions counselling, bereavement counselling and in young people's counselling. I am currently working towards a Master's degree in Integrative Psychotherapy.

I'm an experienced addictions counsellor (individuals and groups). I have experience of working with young people and adults with a wide variety of problems. I can help with life crises, stress (including work related stress), relationships, abuse (physical and sexual). I can also help with your personal growth: improve your self esteem, confidence and assertiveness. I am experienced in both long and short term work.

I have wide experience of the Armed Forces and the unique pressures that service personnel, their families (and also ex-servicemen and women) are sometimes faced with.

My aim is to provide a warm and trusting relationship within which we can explore your difficulties.
