Counsellor Profile

Everyone, at some point in their lives can find themselves with problems, worries or situations that can become difficult to manage, understand and sometimes become overwhelming. They can affect our everyday lives and may come from a past experience, present problem or a future concern.

Often individuals seek counselling when they find it difficult to cope with their current situation.

Counselling, rather than providing "advice", provides you with an opportunity to work through and gain better understanding of YOUR needs.

I qualified as a counsellor in 2003 having trained in the Pyschodynamic approach to counselling. Since then I have gained experience working with many clients and their "problems" and believe there is no right or wrong approach to counselling. I now work with an integrative approach with firm knowledge that each client is a unique individual with different needs.
Having qualified as a psychodynamic counsellor I have since qualified in brief solution focused hypnotherapy and psychotherapy.

My practice offers a safe, supportive and confidential environment in which to explore aspects of your life, your thoughts, emotions, worries or concerns which you feel could benefit by working through and discovering your own resources to manage these more effectively.

Uncommon Knowledge - Diploma in Brief Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy - Accredited by Hypnotherapy Association and General Hypnotherapy Register - November 2004.

Initial Assessment - £15

Counselling Fee's - £35 - £50 sliding scale per 50 minute counselling session.
Concessions available.

Hypnotherapy - £60 - £75 sliding scale per 90 minute session.
