Counsellor Profile
I offer individual counselling in Mirfield and help clients explore any issue. I offer short and long term counselling work based around a humanistic approach. I believe in the provision of a confidential and ethical service and that gives clients the space to explore any issues that are important to them. I am also an accredited member of BACP and work within their code of ethics. I work with individuals of any age, including teenagers from age 11 and as well as my private work I have experience within two local University counselling services, secondary school and have worked within the Samaritans. I have experience working with self harm, trauma, issues following rape as well as most other issues. I also have experience working with bereavement issues with all age groups.

I have experience in person centred counselling including Post Graduate Certifcate in Person Centred Counselling and I have an Advanced Diploma in Counselling. I have also completed the TA101 course in Transactional Analysis and have Bsc and MA qualifications.
I have experience of solution focussed work and am a member of the United Kingdom Association for Solution Focused Practice.
