EILEEN EMBERLIN MBACP(ACCRED) COUNSELLOR/PSYCHOTHERAPIST AND COUNSELLING SUPERVISOR | |
Counsellor Profile
I am a BACP Registered Snr. Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist and UKRC Registered Individual Counsellor/Psychotherapist. I am also an experienced Counselling Supervisor.
I work with individuals and couples and offer short and long term counselling and psychotherapy. I also offer telephone and online counselling.
As a counselling supervisor I offer supervision to trainee counsellors and psychotherapists as well as to other qualified counsellors/psychotherapists.
My counselling approach is humanistic/integrative, and I believe that given the opportunity and correct conditions humans have the capacity and ability to grow throughout life to achieve their full potential. As a counsellor/psychotherapist my aim is to help my clients to deal with problems and issues that are stopping them achieve this, and to uncover any blocks that may be holding them back from being the people they wish to be. We are all unique and what works for one person may not work for another. I therefore believe that the best way for clients to benefit from counselling or psychotherapy is for the therapist to use the method that best fits the needs of the client. During my training I have undergone my own personal therapy.
My practice is based in Greetwell, North Lincolnshire. Five miles outside Scunthorpe. I see clients in a self-contained annex that incorporates a therapy room, office and toilet facilities. Greetwell is a very small village and my premises offer privacy and a relaxing atmosphere.
