Counsellor Profile
Through working with my clients I have learned that to make the changes we want to make, to feel better about ourselves, we need to find our own potential and use it.
Counselling can help to reach and realise that potential.
One way to do this is by talking through your concerns with someone who can listen without judging. This is what I believe counselling is about and taking this first step of getting in touch with a counsellor can sometimes be the hardest one to take.
This starting place is different for everyone, as everyone's concerns are as unique as they are. I offer my clients the opportunity, when they feel ready, to express their thoughts and feelings that they might not be able to express elsewhere and in confidence.
I am prepared to work with my clients in a way that's comfortable for them and that includes working with dreams or making images.

Fees
I have a fee structure that is intended to be affordable to as wide a range of people as possible.
For someone in full-time employment my fee is £35, for part-time workers it's £25 and for the unwaged and people studying therapy my fee is £20.
The sessions last for sixty minutes and are usually on a weekly basis. There can be sessions available in the evenings and at the weekend as well as during the day. The fee will be negotiated and agreed at the start of the first session which will take place in central Edinburgh, on the ground floor and is accessible for wheelchair users.
