I work with individuals, couples and families, dealing with most issues.

Counsellors don't generally give advice; rather they help you find the solutions to whatever the issues are you're facing. 

Counselling can be helpful for many reasons. Maybe your relationship is going through a rough patch, or has ended or you're experiencing some life changing events. Perhaps things keep resurfacing from your past and you feel it's time to understand them more. January in particular can be a very difficult month.

As a substance abuse specialist, I also offer help with all addictions, and another specialised field is infertility and miscarriage support.

You can contact me by email or telephone to arrange a 75 minute initial appointment. This provides an opportunity to talk through the issues you are experiencing. If we both agree that counselling would be helpful for you, sessions lasting 50 minutes would normally be arranged once, or sometimes twice weekly, depending on the nature of the issue.

I have consulting rooms both in Welwyn Garden City and Brighton Town Centre.

Fees

Session fees start at £55 for an individual 50 minute session and £85 for an initial consultation. Reductions are sometimes available for people on low income. Prices for couples and families available on request.
