Profile
I offer a professional counselling service for individuals and couples on a long term or short term basis. Clients are able to discuss personal issues of any kind in a safe and confidential environment. My previous life experience also assists me in helping people facing bereavement, major life changes, abusive treatment or spiritual issues.
I also offer supervision to counsellors, including trainees, and also to clergy and members of the helping professions.
Training, Qualifications & Experience
Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling (University of East Anglia).
Certificate in person-centred Supervision.
I have several years of experience as a counsellor. As a member of BACP I work within the BACP Ethical Framework.
I work from a Person-Centred perspective, but when appropriate I also use elements and ideas from other approaches, including CBT.

Fees
My standard fee for a one-hour session is £35, although I am prepared to consider a reduced fee in cases of financial difficulty.
The first session is a chance for a new client and myself to assess their issues and background, and to decide whether it would be helpful to continue working together. For this reason I offer the first session at a lower fee of £20.
The fee for supervision is also £35; but this is negotiable, especially for trainee or newly-qualified counsellors.
Further Information
Evening, daytime and weekend appointments are available. Accessible to wheelchair users. Rural location, with easy access by car from Norwich, Wymondham, Watton, Attleborough and Dereham. Appointments are also available in Norwich.
