Stuart has been a counsellor, hypnotherapist and psychotherapist since 1993, completing supervised practice and gaining full diploma status in 1996. Since then he has gained vocational, academic and non traditional awards and qualifications. He has also just completed a MSc Psychology (award date 31st July 2011).
Stuart's specialty areas include anger management counselling, bereavement counselling, depression and bipolar counselling and moving on from abuse.
Denise has been a counsellor and complementary therapist since 2003. She is also a mental health volunteer and has completed various vocational, work based and academic modules and qualifications post diploma.

Since launching in 1993 a number of styles and models of therapy have been combined into an integrated service. All are professionally monitored and insured under appropriate therapy categories. Therapy practice provision includes: solution focused therapy, psychological therapy, transpersonal psychology, eastern psychoanalysis, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, integrated counselling, talking therapies, life coaching (including career counselling), Cognitive behavioural therapy, hypnotherapy, mindfulness therapy and training, Morita, Naikan, social work related advocacy, anger management, stress management, dyslexia counselling, Bipolar (manic depression) and personality disorders, eating disorders, PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), depression, OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder), NLP, relaxation therapy and other related therapies.
Denise also provides Herbalism, Nutritional advice, crystal healing, Reiki. Her specialty areas include moving on from offending, surviving / recovering from abuse or violence, self esteem and self confidence.

Senior partner (Stuart) is an NVQ accredited Trainer and Assessor who is also involved in writing 12 accredited professional training courses for a UK college, accredited by NCFE and recognised by the SHTC. Stuart's approach is Integrative combining many modalities, but with an emphasis on psychoanalysis and transpersonal psychology. CBT, hypnotherapy and humanistic are among other methods used where appropriate.

Senior Professor of Psychoanalysis, Philosophy, Holistic Psychology and Religious Studies at the International Interfaith Seminary of the Church of Seven Planes, UK Chair/Division. Professorship and related awards are directly relevant to eastern philosophy and psychology methods such as mindfulness, Naikan and Satori. These are not academic awards, but do inform eastern psychology practice.
Also the course author of a range of accredited courses / programmes including Level 5 CBT, Level 4 Life Coaching, Level 4 Stress management coaching and Level 5 Anger management coaching (available through NCFE accredited college).
Dedicated to ongoing personal analysis and supervision support in Morita and Naikan eastern psychology and therapy models. Also studying and completing research into addiction and interaction between addiction and other disorders. Stuart has studies a great variety of methods and has a particular interest in combining eastern methods, traditional methods and coaching methods in a transpersonal or Psychosynthesis based format.
Stuart specialises in holistic transpersonal psychology and psychotherapy with a focus on Eastern psychology and psychoanalysis (analysis, mindfulness, Morita, Naikan etc), He also uses CBT and hypnotherapy on a regular basis. He has trained in Gestalt, humanistic, psychoanalytic, TA and many other styles within an integrative framework. Denise specialises in counselling support and life coaching for women. We are dedicated to university level ongoing training and the highest level of standards in our service provision.
Stuart is a member of the the Qi Gung Alliance, the Complementary Therapists Association and a number of other healing and complementary health bodies. Stuart will be running a regular meditation and stress reduction class from September 15th 2011 in Edinburgh (Thursday evenings 5.45-6.45).

Fees
Variable depending on location and financial status of client (working, student, benefits etc). In most areas discounts available for certified low income (housing benefit / council tax benefit / high level Tax credits), students and unemployed. This applies to Glasgow and Edinburgh.
We normally offer a concessionary rate to other healthcare workers below consultant level, and third sector employees and volunteers.
In other areas breakthrough sessions available with intensive support provided over a 6 hour period in one day. These are available in a range of locations including Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Birmingham, Carlisle, Aberdeen. Such breakthrough days can be one-off or bi-monthly.
