Professional accredited psychotherapists and counsellors. Est 1993. We adhere to National Occupational Standards and qualifications from SQA / QCA approved awarding bodies.
Therapy practice providing counselling, psychotherapy, life coaching, Cognitive behavioural therapy, hypnotherapy, social work related advocacy, anger management, stress management, NLP, relaxation therapy and other related therapies. Also Herbalism, Nutritional advice, crystal healing, Reiki. Specialty areas include phobias, anger management and surviving / recovering from abuse or violence.

Partner also provides counselling although her specialty area is Herbalism, Nutritional Therapy and Holistic Healing.
Senior partner (Stuart) is an NVQ accredited Trainer and Assessor who is also involved in writing accredited professional training courses for a UK college, accredited by ASET and recognised by the SHTC.

Fellow of the Institute of Health Promotion and Education. Fellow of the Society for Holistic Therapists and Coaches. Full member of IPTI. Full member of Complementary Therapists Association. NVQ Level IV Training & Development to TDLB standards in the industrial context of Complementary Health Education and Stress Management Education. ASET Level 4 Competence in Social Work. ASET Level 4 Social Work and mental Health. ASET level 3 Grief Counselling, ASET Level 3 NLP. ASET Level 4 Hypnotherapy. NVQ Assessor for the NVQ Advice and Guidance Awards. Background in youth work and residential care. Advisory Board member of the National UK Therapists Register. Adhere to the National Occupational Standards for Hypnotherapy, the Hypnotherapy Research Society recommendations on good practice and the National Code of Practice for Social Service Workers. Also NOS Counselling and Healing. In Pastoral Counselling earned MA, PhD and D.Phil awards in related pastoral subjects from international Seminary (Church Educational Establishment). Also the course author of a range of accredited courses / programmes including ASET Level 5 CBT, ASET Level 4 Life Coaching, ASET Level 4 Stress management coaching and ASET Level 4 Anger management coaching (available through ASET accredited college).
Partner is a Fellow of the Society of Holistic Therapists and Coaches and a full member of the Independent Professional Therapists International. She holds ASET Level 4 Professional Counselling, ASET Level 4 Clinical Nutrition, ASET Level 3 Diet and Nutrition. Also additional certificates in counselling eating disorder cases, hypnotherapy, herbalism, Ayurvedic medicine, crystal healing and psychotherapy. She also holds an earned D.Phil in Holistic Healing (pastoral) from the international Seminary.

Phobias, Obsessive disorders, faith related issues. Anger management and managing clinical conditions such as Bi-Polar and depression a particular specialty. Frequently using CBT and client self care training. We also provide pastoral counselling and spiritual counselling to those who request (never imposed on secular clients). Multi-faith, Pagan, Kaballah, Christian and other models of pastoral care available. Ayurvedic, Japanese and Chinese modalities of healing also available
Individual and couple support available, including marriage, couples, gay, bi and other combinations.
Fees
Variable depending on location and financial status of client (working, student, benefits youth etc). In most areas discounts available for certified low income (housing benefit / council tax benefit / high level Tax credits), students and unemployed. In other areas breakthrough sessions available with intensive support provided over a 6 hour period in one day. These are available in a range of locations including Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Birmingham, Carlisle, Aberdeen. Such breakthrough days can be one-off or bi-monthly.
