Profile
At some stage in their lives most people experience worry or depression and need support coping with pain, loss, disappointment or uncertainty. There is an overwhelming amount of evidence to show that counselling and psychotherapy can help.
I believe that counselling provides a unique opportunity to talk to someone who will not judge you - or tell you what to do. Instead we would work together to help you make sense of your life, by exploring your feelings with a view to helping you cope more easily with your issues and concerns.
My approach is Integrative which means that I am able to draw on different theories to suit the needs of different clients. Ultimately the goal is to help people understand and accept who they are whilst supporting and promoting positive change.
I work from premises in Lower Parkstone. I see individuals for short or long-term counselling. I work with adults and young people with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, low self esteem, bereavement and relationship issues.
I also offer counselling supervision to individuals or groups.
