Counsellor Profile

I am an experienced person-centred counsellor,and have additional training as a cognitive behavioural practioner. I work with individuals and organisations in offering both brief and longer term work. My practise is currently located in Wallingford, Oxfordshire and central Reading. I believe that counselling can provide a supportive, caring, although often challenging, environment for indiviudals to explore the things that are painful and look at options for the future. Certificate in Telephone counselling South Afica HIV/Aids orgainsation

I have worked within the Police Force, Kings College Hospital,Large Government Departments,and HIV/Aids clinic in Uganda.

I have also worked with young people in a Drop in centre and Elderly people in a dependent care unit.

Fees

I charge £40 for 1 hour

Reduced fees are sometimes available- please feel able to discuss.

Groups - Fees agreeable on discussion of needs.

As a member of The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy I abide by their code of ethics and also take regular supervision for my work to maintain professional competence.
