I am an experienced and sensitive person-centred counsellor. I provide a place of real respect and acceptance and I find that, with the extra support that comes from counselling, people find their own way through their difficulties.
Some people come to me to do short term work, coming for just a few weeks, and others come to do really deep work in order to reclaim their right to contentment in their life. The advantage of coming to a private counsellor is that you are in control of when to finish having counselling.
As well as one to one work I also offer a space for couples to come and work on their relationship.
I am a humanistic counsellor and use the person-centred approach because it gives you control of what you explore and how deeply you go. I feel a deep respect for the way people manage their lives. So often all people need to overcome the obstacles they are facing is a neutral, caring person to talk things through with.
