Other areas of counselling I deal withI specialise in sexuality, gender, self-esteem, confidence, relationships, prejudice and discrimination, anxiety and depression but am happy to explore any issues that you wish to bring.
I also offer cognitive behaviour therapy. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is based on the idea that our thoughts determine our feelings and our behavior. Therefore, negative - and unrealistic - thoughts can cause us distress and result in problems and challenging these thoughts can enable us to break 'cycles' of behaviour, improve self-esteem and confidence and have better relationships with others.
I am also a trained adoption counsellor (through LINK) and am happy to work with any issues around adoption.
I believe that self-awareness and personal growth can empower and enable people to live the lives they wish to live.
I will aim to help you reach your own understanding of difficulties and support you in finding your own ways of dealing with them thus facilitating your own change and/or healing process.
Fees£40
Extra InformationI also offer life and business coaching and work with the individual to increase their performance,self-esteem and coping strategies whether in life or work environments.
Coaching draws on a variety of tools that can enable increases in self-confidence and self-esteem, overcome both internal and external barriers and can lead to more successful relationships and better work performance. It can also enable individuals to achieve their full potential.
