I work and live in Suffolk in the Ipswich and Woodbridge area; from my home practice and the new Framfield Medical Centre in Woodbridge.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

As a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, I have done extensive training in a number of approaches to counselling and working with clients who may come with different issues. I also offer supervision to counsellors.
I have been a trainer on a counselling programme for over 10 years and have only recently retired from my training role.
I have over 18 years experience of working with individuals and couples.
I work with clients in a collaborative way which involves finding the best approach and building a good working relationship which respects the person's ability to make their own choices.

My work includes issues arising from trauma, loss, change and stress as well as issues related to health and disease.
I use Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Cognitive Analytic Therapy skills and the newer Acceptance and Commitment Therapy model as approaches in my work. The emphasis is always on building a collaborative and supportive working relationship with clients.
My supervision model is based on an integrative approach with a Supervision contract and review process as part of the work we would do together.

Fees

£40-£55 per session. Fees are negotiable.

I work three days a week in my Woodbridge practice, including two evenings per week.
I am registered with major health insurance providers.
