I am primarily a systemic and behavioural therapist. I try to help clients understand the problems they face and find practical strategies to deal with these problems. My training has taken in many of the recognised counselling techniques and theories, this means that I can fit my approach to best suit the clients needs. Clients are all individuals and so we work together to find the best way forward. I work alongside my clients in an active and involved way and am transparent in my style so you always understand where I am coming from and how I am working with you. I worked as a Relate Counsellor for 10 years and still consult for them working with their family clients. I have recently trained in Cognitive Behavioural therapy and now offer this as an approach particularly with depression, anxiety, low self esteem and obsessive behaviours. I work with individuals, couples, families and young people.

Supervision & training
Supervision is by nature a supportive environment where counsellors can explore their casework in a safe and non-judgemental environment. It needs to challenge and confront but in a way that allows the supervisee to go back to their client work with confidence.View supervision profile
