Counsellor Profile

I have been counselling in the South London and Surrey borders area for 15 years and have been working both for organisations and in private practice since qualification.
3 years ago I qualified as a supervisor and have worked for several counselling organisations with groups and with individual student and qualified counsellors.

I have a Diploma in Counselling and a Diploma in Supervision. I have been working as a counsellor since 1993, seven years as part of my work with Age Concern Merton and I was Co-Director of Battersea Pastoral Centre for 3 years. I worked as a counsellor for RASASC for 3 1/2 years and worked as a supervisor for Manna Counselling Service, Battersea Pastoral Centre, Kingston Bereavement Service and Age Concern Kingston's Counselling Service. I have been in private practice for 14 years. I am eligible for BACP Accreditation and I am a member of BACP and BAPCA.

Other areas of counselling I deal with

I am a general Counsellor but have specific areas of expertese in older persons work, work with sexual abuse and rape survivors and counselling those with mental health issues. I also have a lot of expereince working with counselling students.

Fees

My fees are £38 per session for counselling and £40 for supervision (of other counsellors).

I have a reduced fee for counselling or supervision for counsellors or supervisors whilst they are in training which is £22 for counselling and £30 for supervision

Extra Information

I see clients at a room close to my base in Mitcham. It has good transport links and is easily accessable from Tooting, Streatham, Brixton, Croydon, Morden, Wimbledon,Thornton Heath and Balham. There is also ample parking and it has disabled access.
