I am an Integrative Counsellor with a person-centred attitude towards my clients which means I believe you have the resources within you to make the changes you need and want within your life. I see myself as a facilitator of those changes, working with you through offering a non-judgmental, safe,supportive space for you to explore your feelings and issues as you work out what changes you want to make. I draw on a variety of therapeutic skills to work in a unique way with each client. I believe myself to have an empathic understanding of where people are in their lives and intuitively know how to facilitate their healing, change and growth.

I am an experienced and professionally trained UK Registered Independent Counsellor with an Advanced Diploma in Counselling from Manchester University. I am also an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, working to and abiding by its ethical code of conduct. As an experienced counsellor I have worked since 1996 with clients in the NHS, private organisations, GP surgeries and in private practice.
I also lecture in counselling alongside facilitating stress management training and personal development workshops.
Other areas of counselling I deal with
I have had extensive experience working with clients with relationship issues, low self-esteem, anxiety, stress, work-related problems, abuse, grief, loss and bereavement, anger management, depression, post-traumatic stress, eating disorders, employment difficulties and identity issues.
I also work as a Life Coach and am a Stress management trainer, offering stress counselling.
Fees
My fees range from £35 to £60 depending on the type of counselling being offered.
I offer some concessions to clients on low income or benefits.
