About us

Counselling and Psychotherapy in Worcester

The Worcester Therapy Group is a unique service in the locality offering a range of psychological therapies delivered by our team of 30+ professionals, all working under the same roof.

Established originally in 1991, the service has grown considerably and has continued to build its reputation from offering a wide range of therapies to individuals, couples and families in the Worcestershire region.

The cornerstone of our unique service is our goal of helping clients find the best therapist to suit them and to take the guesswork out of the process. To achieve this we conduct an initial consultation to help establish the precise nature of your problem and use this information to match you with the most suitable Counsellor or Psychotherapist. For many, this avoids the uncertainty of approaching individual practitioners purely on the basis of their web-presence alone. Instead we offer an in-depth conversation with an experienced therapist to understand your particular needs, which takes a great deal of uncertainty out of the process.

Our service operates from its own discrete premises on the second floor of Barbourne Health Centre in Worcester WR3, with 4 dedicated consulting rooms furnished to a high standard (please see photos)

Training, qualifications & experience

All our therapists are trained to a high standard with a wide range of specialisms and experience. Please consult our website for details of each individual therapist's experience and background.

All members of our team are either members of UKCP or BACP, with the majority being accredited members of these organisations.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
