On going CPD

I have experience working with children and young people, as well as parents of children with difficulties, helping them to cope with consequences of living with the constant stress of their childs disabilities, disorders and subsequent grief.

I am DBS checked, I have completed first aid and safeguarding training.

My work placement was with Little Miracles, a charity working with families facing seemingly insurmountable challenges.

Following my work placement I was honoured to be asked to join Little Miracles as one of their Counsellors and this work is Continuing, I am now their Clinical Lead.

I also have a thriving private practice and work with adults struggling with issues from childhood, as well as everyday struggles with anxiety, stress and grief.

A recent addition to my CV is Tutoring for Chrysalis, I teach level 4 and  5 Counselling and delivering CPD courses, which is both enjoyable and very rewarding.

I also work as a Clinical Supervisor for Counsellors and others working in the Mental Health Industry at this challenging time.

My work is varied and immensely rewarding,

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
