Nicola Hett Psychotherapist and Counsellor UKCP (Accred)
We all feel anxious and unhappy from time to time in our lives and although talking to family and friends can help, sometimes it is needful to talk to someone who is outside of our usual situation in a more professional capacity. Reaching out for professional support takes courage and is not easy - but this can be an opportunity to shift something that has become stuck, improve your relationships, or find a way through if life seems meaningless.
I offer a safe space and confidential support for you to explore your relationships and what you really think and feel about yourself and your life circumstances. We can look back to see where patterns of behaviour have come from and / or we can focus on the difficulties you are experiencing in the here and now to find a way through.
I have been practising for over 10 years and have experience of providing counselling within the NHS at GP surgeries; a community based counselling service; as well as in the commercial sector as a coach supporting individuals facing challenges within the working environment. I am also an accredited supervisor of both training and qualified counsellors.
Please do make contact if you are
- feeling low and depressed;
- suffering from stress and anxiety;
- struggling with low self esteem;
- experiencing relationship difficulties; or trying to cope after a bereavement;
- or feeling overwhelmed with work problems.
We can then meet for an initial consultation to talk about your particular circumstances, explore ways of addressing what is troubling you and see if we can work together
My practice is located within easy reach of Central London, Hammersmith, Putney and SW London.
