Ann Goodwin MBACP - children, young people and adults
Tyne And Wear
I am an integrative psychotherapist with ten years experience working therapeutically with children between 3-18 years, and I also have extensive experience working with adults. As well as my private work I have worked within two leading children's charitable organisation, both as a therapist, a supervisor and a trainer and presently for an organisation working with adults suffering with depression and anxiety.
I offer support for issues such as:-
Anxiety; Bereavement; Low self esteem; Bullying; Anger; Depression; Abuse; Family separation; Self harm..........
..........as well as many other issues.
I am a trained EMDR practitioner working with adults who have PTSD and have suffered trauma in their lives.
My belief is that every child and adult has a right to a healthy, happy and safe life. I believe that these qualities should be the minimum requirements for a person to develop a strong sense of self, a balanced state of mind and high self esteem. I believe that, with support, people can make positive decisions about their lives and feel valued, seen and heard.
If you feel you or your child could benefit from my support, please contact me to find out if I can help.
I work from a room which is a dedicated space for therapeutic work with children and adolescents. I also have a comfortable seating area for older kids, adults and meetings with families.
