Jenny Snape Dip Counselling Registered Member MBACP
I offer a professional and safe counselling environment (weekday eve appointments) for you to explore and reflect on your thoughts and feelings. I am a qualified and experienced counsellor on the BACP Register and practise in a pleasant counselling environment in Heaton Moor. I provide the time and space for you to gain perspective on your situation and to consider what possible changes you may want to achieve.
I work with clients who are experiencing a range of issues but which include depression, anxiety, generalised anxiety disorder, stress and relationship issues. What I aim to offer you is warmth, honesty and a non-judgmental space for you to be heard and for you to start to unravel your thought patterns and emotions. I am an integrative counsellor and I draw upon a variety of therapy models - I mainly practice as a person centred counsellor but also utilise Cognitive behavioural therapy when it is appropriate for a client to provide you with counselling that most suits your needs and situation.
At your first session you will have the opportunity to share what is going on for you and hopefully by the end of the session you will have a sense of whether you feel comfortable working with me going forward and vice versa.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (visit www.bacp.co.uk) and I abide by their ethical framework.
I practice within dedicated counselling rooms in Heaton Moor - which is within easy reach of Stockport, Davenport, Bramhall, Cheadle Hulme, Cheadle, Didsbury, Heathon Chapel, Heaton Norris and the South Manchester area.
Jenny is a great listener - patient, friendly, professional and non-judgmental. She helped me discover my voice and find my confidence in my own time. Jenny listened to my thoughts and feelings, and allowed me to come to my own conclusions, with guidance and supportive feedback where needed"
