About me
Welcome to Clearview Counselling - Helping you gain a clearer view on life!
My name is Anna Morelle-Grey and I am an experienced and qualified counsellor offering confidential one-to-one counselling and psychotherapy to individual adults over the age of 18. I am a full Member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (MBACP), a member of the BACP Register (Reg. No. 34639), and am fully insured. I'm based in Cardiff, Wales, and offer Integrative Person-Centred counselling via Online Video and Telephone appointments throughout the UK. Appointments can be 'blended' (ie online or telephone week by week) for your convenience. Please note that due to the Covid-19 pandemic I am only offering sessions remotely via online video or telephone.
I have many years experience of working in various mental health charities, and as well as seeing private clients I additionally carry out counselling for Employee Assistance Programmes which offer counselling to employees working in various settings from small charities to local government, the civil service, and large private corporations.
I am an LGBTQA+ affirming & identifying counsellor so happily work with people of ALL genders and sexualities. I also have personal experience of neurodiversity so happily work with those with diverse neurologies including autism, (formerly 'Asperger's'), ADHD, dyspraxia, dyslexia etc.
I am a body / fat / sex-worker / kink / poly / disability positive therapist, and I constantly strive to challenge racism within therapy and the world at large. Activism is a very important part of my life, so I welcome working with fellow activists and those experiencing 'activist burnout'.
The beauty of online & telephone counselling is that it is accessible from anywhere, therefore I work with anyone across the UK and your location is not a barrier. I aim to be as accessible as possible, so you are welcome to have your camera off or on and request that mine be turned off too if necessary. This can be helpful if you experience sensory or information overload, or if you have visual issues.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

A limited number of reduced fee sessions are set aside for those on a low or limited income - please ask me for availability and eligibility. There may be a wait for a place to become available.
