Seeking professional counselling or therapy is the step forward in dealing with emotional pain such as
•experiencing low self-esteem
•struggling with addictive behaviour
•dealing with grief and loss
•work related stress
•having recurring relationship problems and more..
If you are looking for a counsellor whatever the reason, welcome!
I am an MBACP and UKCP registered Integrative Psychotherapist with eight years of experience in a number of professional settings.
'Integrative’ means not limiting my approach to one school of therapy. This ensures that therapy is unique for each of my clients.
As a therapist, my aim is to assist you to look inwards and become conscious of the way you behave and make choices. Then you can make informed decisions about what is in your best interest and how to move forward.
I listen in a non-judgemental, strictly confidential, respectful, non-discriminatory way and I will be there to assist you all the way to a brighter future.
I offer one-to-one sessions from my practice in either Wimpole Street in the West End or Snow Hill Court in St. Paul’s, London.
I also offer video online counselling and telephone therapy for UK residents, English and Greek speakers worldwide. See my website for details.
Internet counselling is fast becoming a popular option. It provides an extra space in which to explore life's challenges.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Masters in Psychoanalysis from Middlesex University, have studied Counselling and Psychotherapy at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education, I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and accredited by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)
I also have a Bachelors in Physical Education and Sports, my very first degree, as Ancient Greeks used to say “Healthy Mind in a Healthy body”, I made sure to cover both. :-)
I have completed a five-years’ UKCP accredited training at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education, and I can offer eight years practical experience working with clients to explore and resolve the difficulties in their lives.
I am also experienced in Online Counselling, I have trained with the Online Therapy Institute (OTI) and I am a member of the association for Counselling and Therapy Online (ACTO).
