Profile

My counselling career followed extensive work in Child Care, working in children's homes, hospitals, special needs education and with teenagers where listening, observing and understanding were crucial. An interest in Developmental Psychology prompted my training in Counselling and Psychotherapy where I learnt much more than just understanding or just listening. It was "deep" listening, a new skill for me, and thats what I do. I listen to your belief systems, your attitudes, your strengths and abilities and of course your turmoil, your stuckness and your losses. Together in a session we work towards solutions based on your inherent attributes and look for ways to clear the sometimes muddied waters.
