Jill Bamber BA Hons, Grad Dip Counselling, Cert Supervision, Reg MBACP.
I offer online (email, secure internet messaging), skype, and telephone therapy and counselling to individuals, couples and employees and face to face therapeutic play to children in primary and high schools.
I work in a person-centred way, drawing on other disciplines such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), transactional analysis (TA), mindfulness and therapeutic play, depending on my client's wishes and objectives. Simply put, this means that I will work with you at your own pace and in a style that suits your personal way of being.
In addition to generic counselling, I have experience of counselling school children, further and higher education students, victims of domestic abuse, NHS patients, CAMHS clients and online clients of all ages.
As well as my private practice, I am a lecturer on an FdA/BA Hons degree in Counselling at a local University Centre.
I am also a qualified and experienced Supervisor (online and face-to-face).
