Often it is a difficult decision to seek 'help' or support from another and yet that very support can be the thing that makes the difference in a situation, to feel that someone is listening and cares, that you no longer feel alone in dealing with these difficulties, it can make a big difference to you in supporting you to find a solution,or encourage and empower you to change a difficult situation.
I work in a way that is person-centred: listening, reflecting and summarising your spoken thoughts and feelings which can help you to work out what to do next. I also work in a way that is encouraging, sensitive and motivating, using a motivational and positive style to support you. I am a fully qualified, accredited and registered Person-Centred Counsellor/ Psychotherapist working in Gloucester. I am also fully qualified in Hypnotherapy and Past-life Regression with many years of experience and have been in therapeutic practice since 2004. One of my practices is attached to our shop in the centre of Gloucester ensuring the convenience of a town centre location and the other is attached to my home. Both locations offer a quiet personal space, free from interruption to discuss your issues and concerns confidentally.
I care greatly about the time I spend with my clients: your personal well-being matters. I value all who come through my door whether a customer or client. You will always be treated with respect and dignity.
I work on a 1 - 1 basis with young people and adults offering appointments both in the day-time as well as the evening. I also offer Telephone Counselling and 'Skype' as an alternative option or for those who live some distance away and find they are unable to travel through on a given day.
My appointments are well spaced, you are unlikely to bump into the next client who is coming in or leaving their session, this facilitates your privacy, you will not see a receptionist when you arrive as I will meet you personally to welcome you to my therapy room
