Maggi Russell MBACP, UKCP.
I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor and psychotherapist, working in a warm, supportive and holistic way, in a safe and confidential space, to explore whatever difficulties you may be currently experiencing in your life, and to help you find solutions. I work with both individuals and couples.
I offer both short-term counselling for issues such depression, bereavement, anxiety, stress, panic attacks and post-trauma, as well as long-term psychotherapy, which is deeper holistic work with clients who want to explore their life journey so far, and recover a lost sense of their authentic selves.
My approach is integrative, incorporating all the strands of psychotherapy, particularly the Jungian and Psychodynamic, which means that together with my clients I explore the ways in which past experiences, particularly from childhood, may be impacting on the present, and perhaps how dream analysis, writing and drawing can help to access unconscious material that needs to be brought into the light.
Archway is on the Northern Line, just 3 stops from Camden Town, and my practice is just 2 minutes from the tube station. it is also close by for Crouch End, Highgate, Islington, Tufnell Park and Kentish Town.
