Hello and welcome, I am a relationship expert of twenty years with a caring and effective approach to life's problems. I offer a free 20 minute assessment. Take the first step towards changing your life and I will support you to achieve a healthier, happier life style.

Phone now for a Free assessment with a professional therapist who cares.

I offer caring, compassionate and confidential Counselling from a private practice in Bowdon Cheshire.

Each client is special and unique and I work at your own pace to suit your individual needs, whether this is for a couple of sessions or more long term therapy.

Whatever the problem, we work together, step by step with trust, respect and sometimes humour, to achieve your goals and build confidence and self-esteem.

In the majority of cases, you can expect to feel better and make progress, from the very first session.

Talking thinks through with someone who is objective and non-judgemental is extremely beneficial in supporting you through difficult periods of your life.
Its never too late to learn new coping skills and put you back in control of your future.

Some problems may appear to be very recent, but often there are underlying issues which go back a long way, and it can be very difficult to break this negative pattern all by yourself.

It is amazing how the human spirit can thrive and prosper when feeling valued and understood.

I still feel immensely fulfilled in empowering clients and observing them grow, reaching their potential in all areas, be it relationship, family, work or social problems.

To give you an example, my present ongoing caseload consists of individuals and couples working on issues such as -

  • Relationships
  • Stress / Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Anger Management
  • Alcohol Addictions
  • Bereavement
  • Assertiveness
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

I am fortunate enough to receive many personal recommendations from past clients and also from local GPs

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
