Many people find that talking to a professional therapist helps process difficult feelings and allows important realisations to come into awareness. I offer confidential non-judgemental psychotherapy, which will be tailored to suit you as an individual. I adhere to the BACP ethical code of practise.
You could be dealing with unexpected responses to life's dilemmas; grieving loss, or feeling less able to cope with the stresses and strains of city life.
Perhaps just struggling to create balance as you negotiate the demands of; friends, family, work and relationships. This is where therapy could help.
Therapy is confidential and non discriminatory.
It is thought that each person has a story or way of seeing their life which changes over time. This means events can be viewed in many different ways, according to the type of narrative, the person has developed.
Choosing the right therapist, someone that feels like a good match, is equally important. The theraputic relationship should feel safe, as you may need to explore difficult feelings and during this time you need to be in a comfortable "green safety zone."
I am an experienced therapist with an MA in Psychotherapy. As a member of BACP, I follow their code of ethical practise and can offer brief solution focused therapy in a warm, relaxed, and confidential setting, as well as a longer term commitment.
My style is integrative and transpersonal and therapy is confidential, and non judgemental. I work with private clients from my consulting room in N7, as well as offering home visits for parents and families only. Psychotherapy can be combined with EFT, and healing. Sessions are tailored to suit you, the individual. My training in CBT (mindfulness) means working with core issues to treat depression, anxiety or phobias.
I have experience experience working in education, social care, and with the youth offending team,. This has led to my use of tools to help process trauma and abuse such as EFT which is a treatment designed to aid in removing blockages in the body created by effects of negative past experience.
Longer- term psychotherapy is indicated for help with deep seated issues that need longer term exploration.
CBT is indicated for goal orientated solutions to specific issues.
