Profile

I am an Integrative Counsellor offering brief or longer term therapy, I work with Adults, Couples and Young People.

I provide a safe and therapeutic environment offering support and guidance, where you can talk freely, honestly and in confidence about what is concerning you.

My work with clients is a collaborative process offering an empathic, honest and non-judgemental therapy that is focused on the client's needs.
I work with my clients to create a warm counselling relationship which encourages clients to work through their issues and find solutions which enables choice and change.
I work on the principle that 'the expert on you is you', but when self esteem is low sometimes we can lose sight of that. Therapeutic intervention can help rebuild self esteem leading to a more positive outlook and a greater understanding of ourselves.

Due to the experience gained in my work within the NHS I am able to offer clients brief focused therapy of 6 to 8 sessions for depression, anxiety, low self esteem, anger management, relationship issues, bereavement, abuse and much more.
Longer term therapy is also always available working with clients needs and requirements and at a pace set by them.

I offer Individual 'One to One' Counselling Therapy, Couples Counselling Therapy, NLP and Gestalt Dreamwork.
Home visits are available by mutual agreement for clients with limited mobility or transport difficulties.

I have been a member of The British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) since 2006.
I am also a member of Counsellors in Primary Care Association (CIPCA).
