Madi Ruby registered counsellor / psychotherapist. MBACP (Accred).

I am an experienced counsellor / psychotherapist. I have worked with people who have chosen to come for therapy for lots of different reasons. People say that I help them to get a better understanding of themselves and to cope better with their lives. I am qualified to work with adults, couples and children & young people.
I have an MA (Master of Arts) in Clinical Counselling (This is the highest level of practitioner qualification). I am a Registered and Accredited member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). This is a professional body regulating counselling and Psychotherapy and accredited status means that I have been deemed to be a competent, ethical and independent practitioner. I have completed substantial training and practical experience to ensure I am competent to work with many issues.
There are many reasons that people can experience difficulties in their lives ranging from problems in childhood to later loss and traumatic or other challenging life experiences. Sometimes you may simply notice a change in mood or your sense of satisfaction with life and be at a loss to understand why. I work with my clients to help them understand their experiences and feelings and move forward in their lives.
Clients tell me that they are often nervous before coming to see me the first time, but that they are so glad that they finally found a way to talk about their concerns and move forward in their lives.
I work from my light private dedicated therapy room in central Oswestry. On street parking is available.
You are welcome to call me directly to book an appointment. I also accept referrals from GP's, other health professionals and Employee Assistance Programs.
