Sarah Nieboer Dip Psych Reg. MBACP
0207 385 7123 / 07881 802 381
I have 17 years experience and provide a confidential non judgemental safe environment for a one to one exploration and discussion which is both objective and reflective. In this way difficult and painful issues can be looked at and understanding develops in which change occurs.
My consulting room is within a few minutes walk of Barons Court Tube Station. I work with issues such as Anxiety, Depression, Relationships, Self esteem and others.
Mainly, I use the psychoanalytic model as early life patterns, now confirmed by research are where the development of our personalities were first laid down.
I use other techniques such as Dreams, Gestalt, CBT and visualisation.
I try to develop a relationship which encourages trust and intimacy.
Training, qualifications & experience
I began at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy and have a Diploma in Psychotherapy which is both BACP and UKCP accredited
I am a qualified Supervisor from the British Association of Psychology and work with Supervises in many different models from Person Centered, Gestalt and CBT.
I went on to the Tavistock and Portman Clinic and gained experience of working with couples and attachment theory, which showed me how relationships start in early life and how this can influence other relationships. Later I went to the Institute of Psychoanalysis for further training and courses.
