Yolaine de Carne-Parsons MSc, UKCP/MUPCA (Registered/Accredited)
I have over fifteen years of psychotherapy and counselling experience - working with young people and adults. I offer a personal and confidential service to meet my clients' needs. I can work in French and in English.
My counselling philosophy is based on my personal philosophy that people are complex, never entirely graspable and are to be looked at as equal human beings. Being respectful of the other and difference is fundamental to any kind of relationship. Values such as integrity, autonomy and respect underpin my democratic point of view in life and therefore my psychotherapeutic counselling practice.
My therapeutic approach is Integrative, primarily combining principles and theory from Humanistic and Psychodynamic schools. I am also CBT trained. I have experience of working with a range of emotional and psychological difficulties, which I believe can be helped through my services. In every element of my work I strive for the highest level of professional excellence.
